The invention relates to a spatula device with a special design, whereby it is excellently suitable for detaching a surface material, in particular for detaching a wallpaper from a wall.
Usually, the detachment of a wallpaper from a wall is done manually using a simple spatula, and it is often found that in some places the wall to a considerable effort and time is required. As a result, this activity eventually becomes unnecessarily labor-intensive and cost-intensive if a third party is charged with this activity for a fee. To facilitate this activity is often done by the fact that the wallpaper is first moistened, then this, if the moisture has softened the wallpaper on the wall-fixing glue to dissolve with a spatula. However, this measure increases the time required and particularly stubborn spots remain often enough nevertheless.
The invention is based on the object to provide a spatula, with which a surface material can be easily, quickly and thoroughly removed. The invention particularly aims at the use in the removal of a wallpaper from a wall, but is by no means limited thereto.
To achieve the object, a spatula device is provided, comprising a housing and a receiving device for a spatula tool, wherein in the housing a Schlagerzeugungseinrichtung is arranged, through which the spatula tool is displaceable in an oscillatory movement. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
According to the invention it is thus provided that the spatula device, similar to a drill, has a housing in which a receiving device for a spatula tool is arranged. The spatula tool has for this purpose a corresponding to the receiving portion, which can be pushed into the receiving device and locked in this. Such a receiving device and a corresponding corresponding portion of a tool is sufficiently well known from drills on the one hand and drills on the other hand. The spatula tool is formed in a simple embodiment of the invention at one end of the form as well as a conventional spatula, but may also have special shapes in a further embodiment. In the housing, a impact generating device is further arranged, by means of which the spatula tool received by the receiving device can be displaced into an oscillatory movement. This combination of spatula tool and impaction generating device represents the essence of the invention in its simplest embodiment. In this way, namely a surface material from a substrate, especially a wallpaper from a wall can be effectively solved. Additional measures such as moistening a wallpaper are no longer necessary.
In a further embodiment of the invention it can be provided that the spatula device comprises a pressure sensor which measures the pressure exerted on the spatula tool, wherein the impact generating means the spatula tool is activated depending on the pressure exerted on the spatula tool. In this embodiment of the invention, the spatula device additionally has a pressure sensor which triggers the impact function of the impact generation device. This occurs depending on the pressure exerted on the spatula tool in removing a surface material. This means that the impact-generating device is activated upon contact of the spatula tool with a difficult-to-dissolve location of the surface material. For pressure measurement, a pressure sensor is provided, which measures the pressure exerted on the spatula tool. Needless to say, a control unit which is sufficiently known from the prior art and which reads the output value generated by the pressure sensor, checks whether a predefined threshold value has been exceeded and, depending on this check, activates the impact generator. This embodiment is particularly user-friendly, since the spatula can be used like a conventional spatula, as long as the surface material, especially the wallpaper, can be relatively easily solved, and the impact function is automatically activated upon reaching a persistent place.
The housing of the spatula device according to the invention may have, in an alternative or supplementary embodiment, at least one switch by means of which the impact generating device can be activated manually. An advantage of this design is that a user can determine when the effort is too great for him - after all, muscle strength and endurance are very individual.
In a particular embodiment of the spatula device according to the invention can be provided that the housing has two arranged on a substantially straight line grip elements, wherein at least the further spaced from the spatula tool grip element is arcuate. "Arched" means in this Connection in that the gripping element in cross-section surrounds together with the housing an angular range of at least 180 °. On the exact cross-sectional shape (round, square, polygonal, etc.) it does not matter. This embodiment is designed so that the spatula device is guided with the hand and the forearm of only one arm of a user, rather than with both hands and arms. For this purpose, at least the further spaced from the spatula tool grip element is arcuate, so that it surrounds a forearm of a user at least partially. The gripping element disposed closer to the spatula tool may also be arcuate, so that a user can put his hand through this and embrace it. This embodiment of the handle element or the handle elements is particularly advantageous because, firstly, the spatula device does not need to be held solely with the hands and second, only one arm is used to guide the spatula, so that the other arm is completely free. With the second arm, a user can rest on the wall from which the surface material is to be removed, or hold himself somewhere.
In a further embodiment of the invention can be provided that both ends of the arc-shaped handle member are connected to the housing. In this embodiment, the arc-shaped handle member has the shape of a closed arc, which on the other hand is not absolutely necessary. However, it is therefore advantageous because lateral slippage of the spatula or breaking out of the arm of the user is avoided. As before, both gripping elements can be designed in this way.
Furthermore, it can be provided that at least one switch is arranged on the grip element, which is arranged closer to the spatula tool, via which the impact generation device can be manually activated. In this embodiment, the impact generating device can be activated manually with a finger or thumb of the hand with which the grip element located closer to the spatula tool is grasped. Alternatively, with this switch, the spatula tool can be released from the receiving device, so that it can be replaced by a new, so sharper spatula tool. It is also possible to arrange a plurality of switches on the gripping element, each of which can serve one of the mentioned functionalities.
Finally, it is still possible to form the spatula device according to the invention in such a way that two gripping elements are present, one of which is arranged on a carrier displaceably mounted in the housing or on the housing. In this embodiment, a carrier is provided on which one of the grip elements is arranged and which is displaceably mounted in the housing or on the housing. As a result, the distance between the two gripping elements can advantageously be changed and thus adapted to the forearm of a user.
